Euxinograd Residence is located north of Varna on a 3-kilometer coastal strip in the immediate vicinity of the Sts. Constantine and Helena resort. The complex was the summer residence of the monarchs who ruled Bulgaria after the liberation from Ottoman rule (1878), i.e. Alexander Battenberg, Ferdinand, and Boris the Third.
