The World of the Thracians – a cultural and historical complex

The Valley of the Thracian Rulers, located on the territory of the municipality of Kazanlak, is the area with the most remarkable evidence of the uniqueness of the Thracian culture.

Material traces of millennial human presence here date back to the Neolithic. Numerous settlements, necropolises, cult places and fortresses from Antiquity and the Middle Ages have been documented, which makes it one of the richest archaeological monuments in Bulgaria.

The World of Thracians complex will take its visitors to ancient Thracian times. Guests will have the opportunity to view a model of the ancient town of Seutopolis, the town of Seutus III, the capital of the Odrysian state, from the end of 4th and the beginning of the 3rd century BC, which is the only fully explored underwater archaeological site in Bulgaria. In a smaller version, the model will recreate the grandeur and rich culture of the Thracians. With the high-tech 3D virtual reality, they will be able to observe various fragments of Thracian life. They will have the opportunity to have a photo session with Thracian clothing or to make Thracian ceramics in the recreated craft studios. For visitors who want to enjoy the Valley longer, the complex offers accommodation houses and a thematic restaurant with a winery.

With the opening of the unique attraction, the guests of the tourist complex will become part of an unforgettable experience, carrying in their hearts dear memories of the tourist destination Valley of the Thracian Kings.
