In 1924, a magnificent five-aisled cross-domed basilica in neo-Byzantine style was consecrated — the largest religious temple in Bulgaria. The impressive architecture is complemented by magnificent mural paintings, while the gilded domes of the temple are visible from afar and over the years have become one of the city's symbols.
