Nova Zagora Municipality known as "The Mecca of Archaeology" holds memories of past eras. Stories about them are told by the expositions in the Historical Museum in the town. There are preserved traces of the distant times, the most ancient of which date back 8 millennia. There are exhibits from the many archaeological mounds in the region, one of which is the Karanovo settlement mound, called not by chance "the palace of Thracian prehistory".
Still today Novozagorsko tells stories of ancient and more recent times. The voices of our ancestors also speak in St. George Church in the village. Lyubenova Mahala. The tragic massacre of 14 July 1877 comes alive in its silence.
The newly opened in 2019 "House of the Good" Temple brought out of the silence the Prophet of the people from the village of Konyovo Grandfather Vlaycho.
