On an international scale, the region is accessibile through three airports (Plovdiv, Sofia - 1.5 hours, Burgas - 2.5 hours from Plovdiv). On the other hand, land transport connecting Plovdiv with Greece and Turkey is completed in less than 3 hours.

The Thracian tourist region covers an area of 15,540 sq. km. and its location allows it to be included in the Integrated tourism products of the regions — Sofia, Balkan Mountains, Rhodopes, Valley of the Roses, etc.

The easy accessibility is of great importance for the types of tourism that are characteristic for the region: cultural and wine tourism, business tourism, urban, festival and shopping tourism, medical, spa and religious tourism, adventure and ecotourism, as well as any combination of them for a complete and unforgettable experience.

The millennia of prosperity have left in Thrace 8 civilizations and cultures: prehistoric, Thracian, Roman, Byzantine, Old Bulgarian, Ottoman, Renaissance and modern culture.

History, culture, preserved nature are successfully combined here with the enjoyment of the taste of wine and the pleasure of travelling.
