Polska Skakavitsa Waterfall is formed by one of Struma River's streams when there is a large meander of the river into the Zemen Gorge. Polska Skakavitsa is one of the highest and most beautiful waterfalls in Bulgaria. Its waters originate from karst springs and drop from 53 metres, which ranks the waterfall as third in the country.
