Kozi Kamak, Kovachevitsa

Rock cult complex, located 14 km northeast of Kovachevitsa village, at 1339 m above sea level and occupying an area of 300 m2. It is believed that the central part of this cult site is located on the highest and flattened platform, where a huge rock cauldron, blocked on the south side by an artificial wooden wall, has been carved. From the "cauldron" "flows out" a large outfall, which, after discharging the liquid, takes it along the southern wall of the sacralised rock. On the northern side of the rocky platform, there are numerous groups of circular rock delvings, which, according to some archaeoastronomers, are a kind of star maps of the Cassiopeia and Cepheus constellations.
