Undoubtedly one of the biggest natural phenomena in Pirin are the Melnik Pyramids. It is an endlessly colourful palette of figures. You can distinguish rock mushrooms, chimneys, ships, pointed domes, needles, cones, minarets, pleats, haystacks and Egyptian-like pyramids of various sizes.
