On Bulgarian territory, the route starts in Rila and enters the Rhodopes in the region of village of Avramovo by going through the most interesting places in the Rhodopes: dams, gorges, caves, natural sightseeings, sanctuaries. The route is accessible during the greater part of the year and ends in the foot of the Rhodopes by the village of Mezek.
