March Music Days is the symbol of cultural life in Ruse, one of the oldest and most renowned festival scenes in Bulgaria. It was established more than 60 years ago (in 1961) and over the years it has welcomed numerous artists from the world and European music scene. The festival has been awarded the prestigious international European Festival Label of the European Commission and EFA's Europe for Festivals, Festivals for Europe for 2020 and 2021. Since 2017, the artistic consultant of the festival is the Ruse-born and world-renowned violinist Svetlin Rusev.
